Today The Shomer Hatza'ir Movement has become the educational and moral framework for thousands of young people in Israeli society both Jews and Arabs, new immigrants, Israeli-born youth from kibbutzim and in the cities.

The purpose of Havatzelet is to advance social and cultural projects in Israel and to promote new blood in the fields of science, sports, culture and arts. Havatzelet promotes studies by granting scholarships to students from peripheral communities.

IBIS Editions  is a small press and non-profit organization founded in Jerusalem in 1998 and dedicated to the publication of Levant-related books of poetry and belletristic prose. Ibis is motivated by the belief that literary work, especially when translated into a common language, can serve as an important vehicle for the promotion of understanding between individuals and peoples, and for the discovery of common ground.

The Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research institution devoted to the study of international economic policy.  ACBP's interest was in a research project that examined Canada - Latin America relations

We are a very small non-profit with a very large mission: peace and development in the Middle East. Every day we work towards solutions in mutual respect and understanding through dialogue and education. 

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, with ACBP on it is board, was founded in 2006 with the mission to generate awareness among the North American Jewish and Israeli public to advance civic equality in Israel, where Israeli Jews and Arabs can contribute, participate and benefit as full citizens.   Members of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, a coalition of now almost 100 North American Jewish organizations, foundations, private philanthropists and international affiliates, are committed to the welfare of Israel and support the Jewish state's right to a secure and peaceful existence. Members of the Task Force are proud of the democratic, sovereign state of the Jewish people and support Israel's Declaration of Independence including the article that promises social and political equality for all its inhabitants, Jews and Arabs alike.  Jewish tradition and our democratic beliefs charge us with this challenge for the future of Israel and the Jewish people. Because of its strong support for the State of Israel and concern for Israel's long-term security and welfare, North American Jewry seeks to do our part to make civic equality in Israel a priority for the Jewish people.

Interns for Peace (IFP), established in 1976 in Israel, was the first and remains the only program with the purpose of training community development and peace workers in Israel, and now in Palestinian Gaza/ West Bank, Jordan, Egypt, who initiate cooperative inter-communal action that unites all people.

IDI is an independent, non-partisan "Think-and-Do Tank" that devises ways to strengthen the structural foundations and values of Israeli democracy. While Israel's policymakers are consumed by crisis management, the Institute sets the nation's best minds to work on the long-term challenges facing the State in realms such as Political Reform, National Security, Religion and State, and Constitutional Law.

Israel Policy Forum is a non-partisan organization dedicated to supporting responsible U.S. diplomatic efforts that aim to secure Israel’s future as a strong, Jewish and democratic state.

The Israel Women's Network (IWN) is a non-profit organization consisting of women who are united in their determination to improve the status of women in Israel, regardless of political affiliation, religious outlook or ethnic origin.

The festival has become a tradition and a pivotal event in the cultural life of the city, aiming to promote, to nurture and to encourage the various creative fields and present the general public with unique and quality performances at prices everyone can afford.

The Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development (CJAED) is a non-profit organization, established in 1988 by a group of Jewish and Arab businesspeople. The guiding principle of the Center and its activities is that Jewish-Arab economic cooperation in Israel is essential for peace, prosperity and economic stability in Israel and the region at large.

The Center for Middle East Competitive Strategy (C-MECS), a US non-profit organization, strives to advance stability, prosperity and peace in the Middle East.

Founded in 1982, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America is a media-monitoring, research and membership organization devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East.

 

The representative organization of all workers and pensioners in Israel. Their goal is to protect the rights of the worker in his working place, and to strengthen all the sectors in the Israeli labor market.

The IRPP seeks to improve public policy in Canada by generating research, providing insight and sparking debate on current and emerging policy issues facing Canadians and their governments.

ICN is committed to change the social climate and culture of dealing with conflict in Israeli society. It is done through the improvement of conflict resolution skill in the areas of negotiation, mediation, facilitation and cooperative decision making in the public and private sectors in Israel and the region.

The Israel Interfaith Association is an independent organization that has been working since its inception in the year 1959 throughout the country to promote understanding and mutual respect between all the sects, religions, and ethnic groups within Israel.

The Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies is a think tank for research & ideas on Jerusalem, environmental and innovational policy in Israel, and management of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. 

 

Movement for Freedom of Information in Israel was founded in 2004 by members of the media and leading lawyers to bring the implementation of the Freedom of Information Act. The law, enacted in 1998, states that every citizen of Israel the right to get information from the authorities.

NISPED was founded in 1998 and is a non-profit association which promotes peace and development, focusing on the centrality of the civil society. NISPED serves as a center for education, training and project development for societies in transition.

 

 

The Parents Circle - Families Forum (PCFF) is a joint Palestinian Israeli organization of over 600 families, all of whom have lost a close family member as a result of the prolonged conflict. Joint activities have shown that the reconciliation between individuals and nations is possible and it is this insight that they are trying to pass on to both sides of the conflict.

Our mission is to build an infrastructure of peace and reconciliation by and for the people of the Middle East that promotes socio-economic development, while advancing cooperation and mutual understanding.

The Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem is an informal cultural and educational institution that presents exhibitions consisting of interactive exhibits on subjects of science and technology, and integrates these exhibits into a context through a wide range of educational activities.

The Train Theater was established in Jerusalem in 1981 as a collaboration of four independent puppeteers: Michael Schuster, Alina Ashbel, Hadass Ophrat and Mario Kotliar. The Train Theater expanded its fields of activity and established the International Festival of Puppet Theater, The School of Visual Theater and Habamah Theater, (now called Hazira Performance Art).

WFDD is a not-for-profit organization working at the intersection of religion and global development. WFDD has two central objectives: to reinforce, underscore, and publicize the synergies and common purpose of religions and development institutions addressing poverty; and to explore issues on which there is little consensus and where common ground is unclear among different faith traditions, within faiths, and between faiths and development institutions.
